A History in Pictures
Explore the mountain harvesting, traditional jar-curing processes, and high-end packaging of SATTVAA.
Hand-Selecting the Resin Tears
Our raw materials are sourced from high mountain passes where the cold air and dry soil provide the ideal environment for the Ferula plants. The sap is collected by slit-root tapping and hardens under natural mountain sun before shipping.
Once received, our sorters spread the crystals on large wooden sorting tables, discarding dark dust, plant stalks, and moisture-affected resin chunks, keeping only standard-size amber-colored crystals.

Traditional batch processing
Slow Sun Aging & Stone Grinding
We age our raw sap inside large clay jars. This traditional curing process allows natural fermentation, unlocking complex organic aromas. No mechanical ovens are used—only the slow, natural warmth of sunlit rooms.
The cured chunks are crushed in small, slow-speed batch mills. This replicates the grinding of ancient stone mortars, preventing heat friction from vaporizing the raw therapeutic oils.
Our Flagship Packaging & Label
To seal in this century-old aroma, we bottle our compounded Hing in airtight jars. This locks out moisture and prevents the volatile oils from drying out, keeping the aroma intact for years.
Every label bears the legacy of Shrimati Gyanwati Devi's original formulation—carrying FSSAI License Number 20826004002164 and the SM Global guarantee of zero chemical fillers.

Earthen Pots to Airtight Jars
A legacy ago, Shrimati Gyanwati Devi packed her compounded Hing in small earthen pots sealed with muslin cloths. While it preserved the potency locally, long-distance transit required structural protection to prevent the volatile organic oils from dry evaporating.
Today, we package our pure compounded resin in premium airtight jars sealed with specialized liners. This blocks smell leakage, prevents moisture crystallisation, and preserves the intense aroma for up to 24 months once opened.
